The Starling Co. presents shadow cast auditions for The Rocky Horror Picture Show
That's RIGHT! The Starling Co. is bringing 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙮 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬 back to The Broadway Theater - this time for Halloween! Are you ready to do the "Time Warp again"?
Auditions are open to the public and will be held:
~ Sunday, September 4th at 3:00 PM
~ Monday, September 5th at 6:00 PM

LOCATION:
The Broadway Theatre in Downtown Rock Springs (618 Broadway Street)
*Free street parking is available. Please enter through main lobby doors to retrieve an audition form at the sign-up table. Upon completing the form, you will be assigned a number and welcomed back for your initial audition.
Headshot and resume encouraged, but not required.
You will be asked to learn and participate in a group dance combination to the "Time Warp". Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move in.
*No preparation required, though it is strongly encouraged for you to watch the movie or listen to the soundtrack ahead of time! (Best to know what you're getting into..)Show info and links to soundtrack playlists can be found here:

REHEARSALS:
Begin on Thursday, September 8th and will be held 1-2 days a week - depending on cast and venue availability. This excludes Tech Week, which is mandatory.
Once cast, actors will be expected to practice on their own at home by watching a lot of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙮 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬.We are also exploring several promotional opportunities, where the cast will attend local events and perform a number from the show!

SHOW SYNOPSIS:
In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named "Rocky."
Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other Audience Participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock 'n' roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
~ Auditioners under 18 years old will need a parent/guardian signature to audition.
~ Most characters in the show are required to perform in revealing costumes, as well as act/dance in a suggestive manner.
