Summer Reading

Join the Rock Springs Library for their Summer Reading program.

• June 13 - Rock Gardens
  We're making pocket sized rock gardens to help you calm down when you get too excited. Like we are right now, about Summer Reading!
• June 20 - Book Walk with a Pet Rock
  Looking for a new, low maintaince pet? We've got you covered! Stop in for a story and choose a pet rock to take home and read to all summer long.
• June 27 - Rock Keeper
  You can't start a rock collection without something to collect them in! Decorate your new rock holder, then choose a rock to get started.
• July 4 - No Summer Reading
• July 11 - Make an Instrument
  Learn the history of jingle wands and maracas today - then choose one to make! We'll have music on the lawn when you're done.
• July 18 - Music BINGO
  Are you ready to sing? We'll be playing Music Bingo this week - try your hand at winning some fun picture books to take home.
• July 25 - Book Walk with Ocean Floats
  Stories and (shark) snacks! Enjoy a story at your own pace today, then one the lawn for a fun treat!
• August 1 - End of Summer Dance Party
  What will our end of summer party hold - snacks, back lights, a special dancing dinosaur guest? Get your wiggles out as we all say goodbye to Summer Reading 2024.
