Description
Join us for Sweetwater County's Fourth Annual Survivors of Suicide Loss Day event. Survivor day events are an opportunity where people with shared experiences can come together and find connection, support, hope, and understanding. This event is open to everyone who has lost someone to suicide, or wants to support someone who has.

We will be having food and beverages. We will then screen a movie from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention website. Following the documentary, there will be a discussion. As well as resources and counselors available to talk after. We will also be doing a memory quilt for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. So please bring any materials that you can decorate with. The documentary is appropriate for most middle and high school students, but is not intended for children 12 or younger. Guardians, please use your best judgment when deciding whether to let those in your care view the film. If you would like to register your attendance for the event you can, but it is not required! It allows you to give feedback on the event if you choose to do so.

This event is being hosted by the Sweetwater County Prevention Coalition with support from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. if you would like to register for the event CLICK HERE.
