2024/2025 Broadway season announced
The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is thrilled to unveil the lineup for the upcoming season at the Broadway Theater. The venue's staff and board are excited to present a diverse array of performances that will enrich the cultural and artistic landscape of southwest Wyoming. Featuring music of numerous genres and a performance of William Shakespeare’s Henry IV, this season is sure to continue the Broadway Theater’s run as the premier performing arts venue in Sweetwater County with events that appeal to a wide breadth of the community.

Hank Thunander: Polka Night with the Human Jukebox (September 28th, 2024)
Often called the Human Jukebox for his extensive musical repertoire, Hank has performed at countless gigs, venues, and accordion conventions across the USA — from California to New York’s Catskills, and from Texas to Alaska, Mackinac Island, and Canada. He has led two European tours, five Hawaiian Polka tours, and 15 cruises. Over his 73-year career, Hank has consistently aimed to showcase the accordion as a remarkably versatile and beautiful instrument.
ABBAFab (October 2nd, 2024)
An ABBA tribute act that’s performed around the world will come to the Broadway Theater for a one-night-only performance Oct. 2. ABBAFab features musicians performing some of the Swedish supergroup’s most popular hits from its earliest days through its rise to superstardom in the disco era.
The concert tour coincides with the 50th anniversary of ABBA’s win of the Eurovision Song

The concert tour coincides with the 50th anniversary of ABBA’s win of the Eurovision Song Contest, with which the pop group soared to international fame with its hit “Waterloo.” Since then, ABBA has sold more than 100 million records and was inducted into the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame in 2010.
Bar D Wranglers (December 11, 2024)
The Bar-D Wranglers perform almost every summer night at the Bar D Chuckwagon from the end of May until the end of September. They have been featured performers at the Grand Ole Opry, Carnegie Hall in New York City, San Francisco, and Tokyo.Originating in Durango, Colorado, at the Bar D Chuckwagon, this four-piece band has provided entertainment for the whole family with their fun old west music and comedy stage show since 1969. The current members include upright bassist, comedian, and lead vocalist Joel Racheff, 2 time National Flat pick Champion guitar player Gary Cook, World Class Cowboy Yodeler and lead vocalist David Bradley, and hot fiddle player Matt Palmer.
Opera Wyoming (January 11, 2025)
Wyoming’s premier opera company returns to The Broadway! Founded by Rock Springs native Emily Quintana, Opera Wyoming will provide an entertaining evening ranging from popular operatic selections, the “Golden Age of Broadway,” the “Great American Songbook” and more! It’s a performance potpourri of music with a little something for everyone and perfect for the entire family.
Twin Flames (January 28, 2025)
Twin Flames has gained widespread acclaim both across Canada and internationally. Their remarkable talent and artistry have earned them 44 awards and nominations, including four Canadian Folk Music Awards. Blending modern Indigenous music in English and their ancestral languages, Twin Flames merges genres such as contemplative folk and bold rock 'n' roll. This fusion creates a resonant sound that deeply touches their audience, leaving a memorable impact.In just eight years, Twin Flames has established itself as a prominent force in contemporary music. Jaaji, from Nunavik and Kahnawake (Inuk and Mohawk), and Chelsey June Settler (Algonquin, Métis, and Cree) perform in a mix of English, French, and Inuktitut. Their music combines Indigenous spirit flutes, traditional drums, and Western instruments to create enchanting sonic landscapes. Their journey began in 2014 when Chelsey and Jaaji were featured in a television program on APTN, a collaboration that not only launched them as Twin Flames but also led to their union as husband and wife.
Jessica Fichot: “Languages of Love” (February 11, 2025)
Accompanied by her accordion, toy piano, and fiery band, Los Angeles-based chanteuse and songwriter Jessica Fichot draws from her multi-ethnic French / Chinese / American heritage to create an intoxicating multilingual fusion of French chanson, 1940s Shanghai jazz, manouche and international folk. In this special program "The Languages of Love", Jessica puts a special focus on songs about love and heartbreak - sung in French, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and English. With 3 acclaimed albums under her belt, Jessica has charmed audiences around the world – performing her lively songs at concert halls, festivals and clubs in China, Mexico, Canada and across the US and western Europe.
Utah Shakespeare Festival (March 29, 2025)
The Utah Shakespeare Festival has been producing high quality theater in Cedar City, Utah for over fifty years. The Festival’s tour brings quality Shakespeare performances and workshops to communities throughout the west. This shortened adaptation of a Shakespeare play allows theater-goers to experience the magic of William Shakespeare and interact face-to-face with live actors. This fully supported production travels with complete costumes, sets, lighting, and sound. This spring, the theater group returns to Rock Springs to perform Henry IV.
Local Music Showcase (April 25, 2025)
Rounding out the Broadway Theater’s season will be a showcase of local musicians. At the start of 2025, the Downtown Rock Springs/Urban Renewal Agency will begin to solicit applications from performers. The URA seeks to showcase a diversity of genres and highlight the deep breath of talent in Sweetwater County.

We encourage patrons to join the “Friends of the Broadway” patron program to support events and stay informed about the new “Off-Broadway Concert Series.” These free events, organized by the Rock Springs Main Street/URA and Broadway Theater, will be held at local Downtown businesses to boost traffic and commerce. Patrons interested in joining the program for 2025 can sign up now and receive benefits for 2024, including early access to tickets for the upcoming season.
The 2024-2025 Broadway Theater season is funded by the City of Rock Springs, Sweetwater BOCES, the Wyoming Arts Council, Westaff, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation.
